I moved from New York to Australia. I wanted to bring my two darling cats with me, and looking online showed me that Starwood was a very popular and reliable choice. I was extremely worried because Australia has some of the strictest biodiversity laws in the world, and my cats would need to be in quarantine in Melbourne for 10 days even if they had the proper veterinary documentation.With that being said, Starwood did a lot of the heavy lifting, and my coordinator Molly helped immensely with the process, explaining what needed to be done, and helping with the paperwork.

Thank you to Ryan at Starwood Pet Travel for coordinating our cat's relocation from Houston, TX to Abu Dhabi. We encountered some complications in the pre-travel planning stages which were outwith Starwood's control, however Ryan's knowledge and support was second to none. Once our pets were in transit I appreciated the frequent email updates informing me on the exact whereabouts of my pets which I found very reassuring. I would recommend Starwood to anyone looking for a reliable pet relocation company with a trustworthy global network of agents.

The adventure was a long one. It started way before the flight working with Sarah Whittington getting Vet appointments, travel crates and info about all three. Then on 2 November They were picked up for the ride down to Red Dog Spa Retreat, we would not see them for over a week. Sarah set up the ride, the boarding and the USDA Vet appointment. We were going through a lot, selling our business, house and car all before our trip 9 November so time was short. We went with Starwood all-inclusive package because we just could not handle one more thing and our pets are our world and we wanted them to have the best trip to France. They did have one hiccup; the day they were to fly out 11 November it was to cold and windy for them to travel so Sarah had brought them back to Red Dog for one more night. She then had to reschedule not only their ride to the airport, their flight and their trip to their new home in France. Sarah took care of everything, and they were on their way the next day and were in our arms the next day. So big thanks to Sarah and Starwood.

Our move to Spain was made easier by our friends at Starwood Pet Travel. They made the transit of our 2 french bulldogs work without a hitch. There were so many things that had to happen, they made it easy.We were able to be in contact ahead of the travel and had all of questions answered, either with just a quick call, or by scheduling a meeting. Even when our pups travel changed due to a change in the airline schedule, all went well. Cassidy kept me informed of their progress during their travel. And, beforehand, was available to help ensure that all would go according to plan. Starwood was easy to work with, explaining the process, travel immigration rules of the airlines country.Our pets were skittish on the night of arrival. That day, they had flow from Frankfurt to Madrid, gone through immigration, and then a 3 1/2 hour van ride to be brought to us. Within an hour, they were back to their old selves and have been so ever since.cWe are glad for the help of Starwood, and Cassidy in particular.I cannot do anything but recommend them. Remember, you are choosing to move, your pets are not.

We are a navy family and had to ship our senior dog, Lilly, to Naples, Italy. I was very nervous because she is an anxious pup to begin with, plus her age, and she had never flown before. Not to mention the health requirements and customs paperwork are rather cumbersome! I was happy to find Starwood, working with them to have Lilly shipped from DC to Rome (via Frankfurt) and they were even able to arrange having her driven from Rome to Naples. Our main point of contact was Sarah, and she was fantastic! She answered all of my questions along the way, kept up with our own flight itinerary changing at the last minute, and was quick to send me pics of Lilly during her layover in Frankfurt. :) My only minor complaint is that the CareTags feature didn't seem to be worth much. I thought it would be a more helpful "live" type of GPS tracking, but it only got updated once over the whole 48 hours she was traveling. I got more information about Lilly's whereabouts from the Lufthansa cargo tracking page. Shipping a beloved pet is going to be stressful no matter what, but Starwood helped make the experience as seamless as it could be.

WELL worth the cost to have the peace of mind that professionals are taking care of everything! With everything else I had to worry about with our international move, it was great to know that the pet move was well in hand and being managed. My nerves wouldn't have been able to handle worrying about everything on my own!My crew was well taken care of, and communication throughout the process was perfect. I highly recommend Starwood Pet Travel for shipping a pet to a new location, particularly for overseas travel. In our case, we shipped a large dog from the U.S. to South Korea. It was a bit complicated, as Caesar’s soldier was already in South Korea; Caesar was living with our son’s fiancé who had all the dog’s health records in PA; and I was in charge of the final travel responsibilities in OH. Before contacting Starwood Pet Travel, we found there were various restrictions specific to individual airlines, such as weight allowances, number of flying hours before a layover was required, and more. Once we found Starwood Pet Travel these concerns were no longer ours. After our initial interview, we were paired with a coordinator, Ryan, and were so grateful for her help. She was very professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and organized while personable, kind and caring, and always willing to take that extra step to insure safety and success. She kept us aware of our responsibilities such as veterinary appoints, kennel requirements, and needed paperwork. Additionally, she made arrangements for the initial airport contact, customs, a layover in Germany, and the final turnover in South Korea. She sent continuous updates throughout Caesar’s journey, so we were able to know he was having a good trip. Then, came the news that he had landed safely at his destination, cleared customs, was reunited with his soldier, and on his way to his new home… the happy ending we had come to expect Starwood Pet Travel took away the stress of the responsibility of shipping a beloved pet to an overseas destination.

Starwood Pet Travel took care of our pets, worked with our vet, and smoothed out an issue at the last minute at the airport on arrival. Having the pets taken care of and their care off our plate while we dealt with the stress of travel was a game changer. I moved all the way from the US to Japan with my 10 year old cat. There was a lot of paperwork and red tape to handle, so I'm really glad I used Starwood to make sure I had everything done correctly. He also got a comfort stop halfway through to make sure he wasn't too stressed out, which wouldn't have happened if I'd transported him myself.

I engaged with Starwood Pet Travel about 6 months before my adopted girl Jazmine was scheduled to travel and the whole experience was very well coordinated. Ryan was very responsive regardless of what questions I had or got anxious on the phone regarding timing of flights. My girl was transported to South Africa very safely and delivered to my home. I am elated to be reunited with my fur baby.

Starwood pet travel provided an excellent and comprehensive service to transport my 2 cats from Orlando to London Gatwick. I’m not sure I could have pulled it off without them! The cats settled in soon after their arrival and everything went smoothly. Rosemary, who was my coordinator, was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. So glad I went with Starwood!
