Misty's Trip to New Zealand

Misty has always been feisty, so no one expected her arrival in New Zealand to be quiet. The moment she saw her family again, she made her feelings known. There was plenty of yelling as she loudly informed everyone that she was confused, offended, and thoroughly displeased with the entire experience. At the same time, it was obvious she was happy to be home.

For the next two days, no lap stayed empty for long. Misty claimed each one the second it became available, purring constantly as if making up for lost time. Still, nobody was happier to see her than the family’s one year old, whose face lit up every time Misty walked into the room.

Now settled into her new life, Misty has been exploring her neighborhood with determination and great curiosity. She has already discovered that there are far more cats nearby, making her new territory a little more competitive. What she does not know yet is that squirrels are no longer part of her world. Fortunately, she has two new catios where she can keep watch over her surroundings and survey what she clearly considers her kingdom.
