We used Starwood for the move of our cavapoo Onyx from DC to Singapore. He'd never flown before nor was he used to kennels. However, the Starwood team was brilliant, with special thanks to Ryan for all the terrific help. From getting him used to the kennel to the making the cumbersome paperwork a seamless process and arranging the necessary vet appointments, all went extremely smoothly with personal attention to Onyx' needs and our many questions. We will certainly rely on Starwood again for our next move!

We are so grateful for Starwood's, and especially Rosie's, support in transporting our four cats from the US to New Zealand. We've got a lot of pets with unique medical needs and temperaments and New Zealand has an incredibly complex import process. Rosie and the Starwood team handled it all with patience, kindness, respect, and transparency. Rosie's calm and responsiveness throughout the process was so helpful and it was clear she understood what our pets mean to us. All four made it through their travel and quarantine safely and smoothly and are now home with us and back to their usual routines. The pet portal and CareTag tracking were also a great help!

Starwood was very thorough and made certain that every bit of paperwork was correctly completed by me and the vet who completed the requirements. They liaised with the vet personally and with the company in South Africa, who saw the kitties through customs. Starwood did everything they promised and when we didn't hear from the airline, they contacted them to check up on progress. Unfortunately, Lufthansa left their original paperwork in Atlanta (Starwood could not have prevented that) and so my kitties were delayed in Germany for 2 days. Starwood kept me informed throughout the process. My kitties were a bit thin when they arrived at my house, but as anyone who has cats knows, if a cat won't eat, it won't. Nothing anyone can do.

Starwood Pet Travel did a great job transporting our Pomeranian from Atlanta to New Zealand. Sage, our travel advisor, was so thorough and kept in constant communication with us throughout the process. When there was an unexpected embargo that impacted our dog’s travel plans, Sage figured out a work-around that didn’t cost us any extra money and allowed our pet to arrive on time. Sage was also very helpful with explaining the process of our dog’s vet visits leading up to the departure. We felt our dog was in good hands from start to finish. I’ve been recommending Starwood Pet Travel to other Americans wanting to transport their pet to NZ. Highly recommend!

I moved to Cape Town at the end of last year and needed to bring Loki (my French Bulldog) over. The process before Starwood felt so overwhelming but Ryan made it happen. They were quick to respond and kept calm even through my anxiety emails. 10/10 would recommend. Loki arrived safely and now can call himself a "certified word traveler". Thanks again!!!

Starwood Pet Travel made the process of planning Bodhi’s relocation to China much less stressful than I expected. From the beginning, Ryan was responsive, organized, and always willing to answer all of my questions. She clearly explained each step of the international relocation process, which helped me understand the requirements and timelines involved. Knowing that Ryan was guiding Bodhi’s move to China helped reduce a lot of the anxiety I had about such a big transition. Communication was consistent, and I always felt informed about what was happening next. It was reassuring to work with someone who clearly cares about both the pets and the owners going through the process. absolutely seamless start to finish. We flew from San francisco to Amsterdam with about 8 weeks notice and the help of my coordinator Cassidy , and Danny, the handler who came to pick up my dog the morning of travel. Cassidy kept me in the loop with everything , there was actually surprisingly not a great deal to sort out (on my end) which made me very nervous because i felt like there should have been more!! but she made it SO easy you literally just have to sit back and leave her and her team to it! I also was made to feel like no question was too much trouble. I had a second leg of my travels after amsterdam which i was organizing myself ,and cassidy was so kind as to offer her expertise and advice even after her role had finished. she really does know her stuff and really does care about customer service. Danny was an angel too he was so gentle when collecting my dog (she’s very timid and nervous) and he made sure to send me so many pics of her along the way , her being checked in , having her last walk before being loaded into the plane etc - it really put my mind at ease. if i ever move internationally again in the future i will be using Starwood again and i will be recommending to anyone i know who is also planning an international move.

Absolutely overjoyed with the experience from start to finish! This was our dog's first time flying and our first time coordinating the logistics of getting him onto a flight and we couldn't be happier with how easy Starwood made the entire process!! Ryan at Starwood did a great job of transporting our Golden Retriever from the US to Singapore to rejoin his family! She responded quickly to questions and helped take the worry out of a stressful trip. So for 5 years I had been planning to move from Texas back home to the UK. And my main worry that entire time was about moving my dog Gunnar. I searched a lot of pet shippers, but Starwood was the only one that offered different scales of assistance with the move, and customizable package prices. Everyone I ever dealt with was very friendly, informative and I felt confident in their expertise and customer service from the get go. Paul, the sales rep and Cassidy my co-ordinator were amazing. I couldn't have asked for better. Everything went smoothly, I was constantly updated with how the process was going. Seriously, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to transport their dog. Gunnar is now settling in nicely in his new home. :) Thankyou Starwood for making it happen. :)

Do not mess around with the safety of your pets. From beginning to end, the Starwood team was top of the line. You will still worry when your pets are away from you, which is why you need to get to know and trust your transport team. I was able to email and get a quick response especially during the transit time when I was worried, but Starwood kept me in the loop with every step. Moving is often filled with one issue after the other, but I wanted to make sure the issues did not relate to my cats, who were delivered to our overseas location right to our new doorstep. I cannot thank the team (Paul, Sarah, Marianna, Rita) enough. They truly treated our cats like family, and it shows in how quickly our cats are acclimating here!

Great experience transporting our dog to her new home on the other side of the world (LA to Bangkok). It was expensive and we fretted about that a bit at first but ultimately decided it was worth it for our dog and for peace of mind. Thank goodness we went with Starwood Pet! Flights were cancelled due to weather, plans had to change multiple times and our fantastic coordinator, Ryan Bole, managed all of it with calm professionalism and kindness! It was wonderful service by professionals who know the ins and outs of the multiple steps of getting pets from point A to point B with minimal stress. Highly recommend and worth the extra money it may cost!

We had an amazing experience with Starwood. Their knowledge of the very complex proceedings helped us the whole way. In the last minute we found out that we had to send not only 1, but all of our 3 pets through Starwood.In less than 1 day, they had everything arranged and ready to go. Sarah, our Pet Travel Coordinator helped keep us calm, informed and prepared. It is an expensive process, but I do recommend Starwood if you need to transport your pets overseas. We will need it again and we will surely use Starwood again.
