Miss Pearl & Berties Trip to the UK

Miss Pearl and Bertie had always been a package deal — fun, fast, and never quite tired enough for their humans' liking. So when the moving boxes started appearing around the Dallas Fort Worth house, the two dogs treated it less like an upheaval and more like the beginning of the best game they'd ever played.

The journey itself was long — Dallas Fort Worth to a comfort stop in Frankfurt, then on to London Heathrow — but Miss Pearl and Bertie handled it like seasoned travelers, snoozing through the miles and greeting their stretch break in Germany with the kind of enthusiasm usually reserved for squirrels. A good sniff of new grass, a proper leg-stretch, and they were ready for the final leg home.

When the crates finally opened at Heathrow, there was no anxious pacing, no confusion — just two tails going a mile a minute. And then came the reunion. Their family was waiting, and the moment Miss Pearl and Bertie spotted them, it was as if the whole ocean between Texas and the UK simply hadn't happened. Incredible barely covers it — it was pure, unfiltered joy, the kind that makes every layover and every form worth it.

Now settled into their new home, Miss Pearl and Bertie have already started on the bucket list: long, beautiful walks through the English countryside, noses down, tails up, discovering a whole new world one hedgerow at a time. Fun and energetic as ever — just with a lot more green to run through.
