I cannot recommend Starwood enough. From the very beginning our advisor, Ryan, was so helpful and communicative. She took care of everything so we were just able to focus on our long move. We boarded our dog Marvin the night before his flight and they gave us timely updates as well as lots of pictures along his journey. Our fur baby arrived safe and sound in Thailand! I have only the highest praise for Ryan and the whole team. I would use their service again in a heartbeat.

Great experience transporting our dog to her new home on the other side of the world (LA to Bangkok). It was expensive and we fretted about that a bit at first but ultimately decided it was worth it for our dog and for peace of mind. Thank goodness we went with Starwood Pet! Flights were cancelled due to weather, plans had to change multiple times and our fantastic coordinator, Ryan Bole, managed all of it with calm professionalism and kindness! It was wonderful service by professionals who know the ins and outs of the multiple steps of getting pets from point A to point B with minimal stress. Highly recommend and worth the extra money it may cost!

Starwood is one class act, from the first contact to the final text, they took care of Mandy and Brandies move from the USA to Thailand with ZERO issues. Everyone, from Ben in sales, to Piper, our personal assistant, acted like these were their fur babbies. They made sure everything was taken care of. The companies they worked with were the best as well. KLM Airways, the folks at Dulles and Schipol Airports, the driver who picked the girls up, the vets they worked with and the boarding facilities they used along the way were all outstanding. The end delivery with Ricted Kennels in Bangok went so well the girls looked relaxed and cared for. Thank you Starwood for making the most stressful situation and part of our move EASY! Most of all thanks for caring for Mandy and Brandie like they were your own fur babies! 🥰😍🥰😍

We are so impressed with Starwood a d their great care of our fur baby on her trop over seas. They worked with our own Vet to get necessary vaccinations and the correct paperwork completed. Ryan was very quick with responses during the whole process! From handing Lucy over to Quinn for the start of her trip to having her brought to us in Bangkok everything went off without a hitch! I cant thank them enough and if we need to relocate again it will be Starwood that we call! I am totally confident it will be the same phenomal experience!

Our dogs were so happy and healthy when they traveled from Atlanta to Bangkok. Ryan was an excellent communicator and ensured that we were set for travel and comfortable with the plans.

Was it worth every penny and then some to get our pets here safely and happily with as little hassle as possible, absolutely!

My husband and I recently made the big decision to leave Los Angeles and start a new chapter in beautiful Koh Samui, Thailand—with our beloved Newfoundland, Bear, in tow.

Naturally, our biggest worry was how to get Bear to Thailand safely, with as little stress as possible. After extensive research into international pet travel, we chose Starwood Pet Travel—and we’re so glad we did.

From the very first interaction, they stood out. Unlike other companies that sent generic responses, Starwood provided a personalized, comprehensive overview of what relocating a pet to Thailand truly entails. That level of clarity and care made all the difference.

Our coordinator, Ryan, was incredible—responsive, thorough, and always available to answer our many questions. She guided us step-by-step, including coordinating directly with our vet to handle all the medical requirements, which can be overwhelming on your own.

The entire process went smoothly, with no hiccups along the way. Bear arrived safely, right on schedule, a bit tired (and ready for a long nap), but in great condition.

We were beyond relieved and overjoyed to be reunited, and now Bear is loving life—whether he’s lounging at home or playing on the beach.

If you’re planning a big international move with your pet, I can’t recommend Starwood enough. As someone who worries a lot—especially when it comes to Bear—I’m deeply grateful for the care and professionalism they delivered. Thank you, Starwood!

Knowing there is a pet relocation company such as Starwood Pet Travel has made our dog’s journey a successful one. They provided us excellent service from the first point of contact to the last. Benjamin Crumble (Sales and Business) got the introductory process rolling for us and has been clear and concise. We were given a choice of 3 tier levels of service, we chose the Level 2 tier as it was the most popular option and since this was our very first time utilizing their service, it made sense to go with the obvious. I liked the services Level 2 offered, it wasn’t too much and it wasn’t too little. Arrangements were made for a telephone meeting with the Director of Customer Experience Ryan Bole. All communications were done through mostly emails and texts. This is where the process truly starts. All I had to do was to send in my dog’s measurements so the correct size airline compliant crate can be sent to me (you can bring in your own crate but it must comply with the airline’s rules), a fully completed vaccinations report signed (blue ink only) all on one page, H1 Visa (if your dog is relocating to another country), make an appointment to see the vet to get the health certificates rolling and I think that’s it. Ryan Bole handles the rest and that includes liaising with your vet. She has an eye for detail and notices if anything needs to be corrected. Starwood pays for the USDA endorsement fee for the health certificates as well as the FedEx costs relating to those. As much as I wanted to have our dog on the same flight as us, that just wasn’t at all possible. As soon as we heard of when our dog will be boarding her flight, we were able to change our flight as close to her date, so be prepared that it’s not always possible to have your dog on the same flight as yours. I have to say we were very lucky to have our flight changed 2 days after her flight so it wasn’t that bad. Josh, a driver from Starwood Pet Travel picked Zoe up from our home to the airport. He was really fun and gotten to know Zoe a little along the way. Lots of photos were taken of Zoe’s journey and I felt reassured that Zoe was in the best of hands and care. She had a layover in France, received pictures of her, she looked great, food and water were given to her and boarded at her destination kennel for 2 days until we got there to welcome her back with open arms as our dog made it safely to our hotel. She’s still the same playful Zoe as if she’s never left home! I have to give a shout out to “Sohm” from Richter Kennels who really took care of our dog in such a way as if Zoe was her own. I highly recommend Starwood Pet Travel for their transparency and professionalism, they have been with us every step of the way. They truly care about our pets, making sure their journey is a safe one.

For anyone who is extremely nervous about this process, I’m the review for you. I was beside myself with nerves about my fur baby traveling overseas, 2 flights, an overnight layover, and the whole journey took over 2 days. But he made it safely and intact!! While this wasn’t quite the level of hand-holding/coddling I anticipated or perhaps needed, in the end all of the logistics were taken care of and the transportation was a happy success. If you HAVE to transport your pet overseas, I think Starwood is about as good as a pet transport service gets.
