We used Starwood for the move of our cavapoo Onyx from DC to Singapore. He'd never flown before nor was he used to kennels. However, the Starwood team was brilliant, with special thanks to Ryan for all the terrific help. From getting him used to the kennel to the making the cumbersome paperwork a seamless process and arranging the necessary vet appointments, all went extremely smoothly with personal attention to Onyx' needs and our many questions. We will certainly rely on Starwood again for our next move!

Ryan at Starwood did a great job of transporting our Golden Retriever from the US to Singapore to rejoin his family! She responded quickly to questions and helped take the worry out of a stressful trip. We had originally thought we could plan and set up the transport ourselves but we quickly learned that it takes not just an expert but a team of experts to smoothly move a dog without hassle or stress. I’m glad we chose Starwood!

Moving my dog internationally, from Texas all the way to Singapore, was honestly one of the most anxiety-inducing things I’ve ever done. I am extremely attached to my dog, Dax, a 9-year-old, 97-pound German Shepherd who is also considered a restricted breed in Singapore, so the stakes felt especially high. From the very first conversation to the moment he was at his new home with us, Starwood Pet Transport was truly exceptional. My initial contact was with Jonathan from the sales team, who was helpful and clear in explaining the process at the beginning. Once we moved forward, our pet coordinator Ryan was truly the star of this experience. She was consistently responsive, incredibly knowledgeable, and endlessly patient with all of my questions. I never once felt left in the dark, and throughout the entire journey we received regular updates and photos, which meant everything to me as a very anxious dog owner. What really stood out was how organized and seamless the entire process was. Starwood coordinated every step and worked with trusted partner companies along the way. In Texas, Jodi from Tails in the Air helped transport Dax from overnight boarding to the airport, which gave me so much peace of mind. From there through final delivery in Singapore, everything was handled with care. In Singapore, Pets2Go assisted with bringing him home, and Ophelia was absolutely fabulous. She was kind, professional, and so reassuring during such an emotional moment. Most importantly, Dax arrived safely, calm, and clearly well cared for, and that meant everything to me. If you are a nervous pet parent, especially one moving an older, large dog or a breed with additional restrictions, I truly cannot recommend Starwood Pet Transport enough. They treated Dax like more than just cargo, and I will always be grateful for that.

I absolutely highly recommend Starwood to anyone looking for a hassle free and professional pet relocation experience. From start to finish, their team was very responsive at answering my questions and thorough with every detail of the relocation process.
We encountered unexpected hiccups with delays in health certificate endorsements, which led to a postponement of our dog’s flight. Starwood and their partners handled everything very well. They kept us informed and provided multiple next plans, and made sure our dog was well cared at a pet resort for while waiting for the next available flight.
Thanks to their dedicated effort, our dog made it through the relocation. We are so grateful for their support and would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

I had an amazing experience with Starwood transporting my dog (Axie) from New York to Singapore. From start to finish, the team was professional, responsive, and handled all the complex paperwork needed for Axie's journey home. Most importantly, my dog arrived safe, healthy, and happy after a ~20 hour flight! This speaks to how happy I am with my experience. Huge shoutout to Ryan for making sure Axie was well looked after every step of the way during her journey from New York to Singapore! He took the flight from New York to Frankfurt (transit), and then to Singapore. I received timely updates at every stage - check-in, transit, landing, and even post-landing, coming with photos that gave me so much peace of mind. Ryan also made sure Axie was in a safe and clean environment during his transit at Frankfurt airport - something that really mattered to me since he was flying cargo. Like any pet parent, I was worried about the cargo experience, but Ryan made sure Axie had a comfortable space to rest and even roam around a little. I really appreciated the photo updates that gave me peace of mind along the way.
I couldn’t have asked for a more professional and caring experience. Highly recommend this team to any pet parent making an international move!

I'm very pleased now that my animal has arrived in their International destination in Southeast Asia having been escorted by Ryan and her very capable team at Starwood pet travel. Did things happen unexpectedly? Yes. Did I worry? Yes. Did Starwood resolve the issue? Yes. My worrying and any intervention probably got in the way more than anything else. Except when they asked me to take some action: whether that be with the veterinarian or what-have-you. But, all issues were resolved in ways that I couldn't have anticipated because it's a complex thing that I don't understand. They have contracts with Airlines and can change flights and schedules without penalty. And all sorts of resources, infrastructure and relationships they already have in place to take care of so many issues. They have contracts with veterinarians who can reissue Health certifications in cities around the world as an example. At one point, one of the Starwood employees was going to take my pet home for the weekend because there was a long layover and he didn't want her to stay in a crate in cargo storage in some Warehouse near the airport. That's awesome. My little girl had to spend a couple of nights in Amsterdam and I understand there's a nice facility there. It was not part of the planning from the beginning. And it came as a surprise to me. But after I thought about it, I think it was a nice break for her in the middle of a long trip that would have otherwise meant she would have spent four straight days flying and in the crate. The break in Amsterdam gave her a chance to get out of the crate and run around a little bit and mingle with other dogs Etc. I saw pictures of the place. Pictures were also sent to me when she
stopped at certain locations. There are countries that do not scan the tags and report. But, if there's any issues they are reported immediately.
It was expensive but absolutely worth it. Zero remorse on that expenditure which is nice. Cheryl, the other reviewer said it well : multiple members of Starwood were highly engaged in mini aspects. They are pros. I'm grateful I chose them.
