Leela's Leep to Portugal

Leela, a sweet-natured 9-year-old Bull Terrier, recently made a bold move from the wide-open skies of Colorado to the sun-soaked charm of Portugal. Though she was a bit apprehensive at first—uncertain about the change and the journey ahead—Leela rose to the occasion like the brave girl she is.

With Starwood Pet Travel by her side and our trusted partners at Lufthansa guiding her across the skies, every detail of Leela’s journey was handled with care and precision. From navigating her special needs to making sure every requirement was met, her coordinator Ashley was there every step of the way. As her family put it: “We had some very special needs, and Ashley took care of everything. We are very grateful.”

Now happily settled into her new life, Leela is enjoying morning strolls on cobblestone streets, soaking up ocean breezes, and adjusting to the slower, sweeter rhythm of Portuguese life. Her journey may have started with a little uncertainty, but it ended with a wagging tail and a heart full of peace.
